Take 5: Red-tailed Hawks

Red-tailed hawks are found across most of Massachusetts, even during the cold months, which makes them ideal photography subjects. They’re so commonly seen that it’s hard to believe they once nearly disappeared from the state due to shooting and pesticides. Announcing the Winners of the 2015 Photo Contest

Each year, we are in awe of the images entered into our Picture This: Your Great Outdoors Photo Contest. And each year, we embark on the challenging task of selecting the images that best represent the beauty and diversity of nature in Massachusetts.

After a long and thorough judging process, we are happy to announce the winners of this year’s contest.
