Mass Audubon & Pokémon

It seems like Pokémon love Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries as much as we do! We’re delighted to see new faces exploring our wildlife sanctuaries.

Just a friendly reminder for players to be safe and smart while visiting:

  • Stay on the trails (even if the game attempts to lure you off—Pokémon are virtual, ticks and poison ivy are not)
  • Only visit when a sanctuary is open (check our website for hours)
  • Please look up and enjoy nature while you are here!

Have fun and let us know what you find!

Bugs, Slugs, Slither, and Slime: “Yucky” Programs for Young Explorers

Let’s face it—kids love the “Yuck Factor.” And thankfully, there’s a lot to learn from the world of slime! At Mass Audubon’s wildlife sanctuaries, kids  are encouraged to look under rocks and rotting logs to see what they can find, because there’s a whole world of wonder waiting to be discovered.

We’ve rounded up more than two dozen upcoming programs for Young Explorers that feature frogs, pollywogs, snakes, worms, slugs, bugs, bats, and all manner of creepy crawlies!
