First there was Black Friday. Then came Cyber Monday. The newest addition: Giving Tuesday.

The campaign, which takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is an opportunity to “celebrate and encourage charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations.”

We know there is no shortage of fantastic organizations worthy of your donation, but we would like the privilege of making a case for choosing us!

Five Reasons Give to Mass Audubon on Giving Tuesday…

LAND. 35,000 acres protected by Mass Audubon across Massachusetts—beautiful landscapes to explore and enjoy.

WILDLIFE. More than 150 endangered and threatened native species call these lands home.

KIDS. Outdoors, unplugged, getting dirty, having fun, learning to love the natural world.

ADULTS. Dedicated members, friends, and volunteers, protecting the nature of Massachusetts.

YOU. For your donation of $35 ($1 for every 1,000 acres protected), we’ll give you two free gifts to help you see first-hand the wildlife and wild lands you are helping to protect:

  • Places to Explore, our new full-color guide to Mass Audubon’s wildlife sanctuaries, nature centers, and museums.
  • Peterson FlashGuides® to Backyard Birds, an easy-to-use reference when visiting a sanctuary or exploring your neighborhood.

Since Mass Audubon’s founding in 1896, our mission of conservation, education, and advocacy has been advanced by people who care deeply about the natural world, and are willing to take action to protect it—people like you. Thank you for all you make possible!
