Hi Everybody,
Pretty warm day here at Wildwood, but I’ll still take the fun machine over an air conditioner! Yesterday was a typical opening day with tours of camp, health checks, swim checks, and basically settling in. Today was the fist day of our regular schedule, including Interest Groups, Discovery Groups, siesta, OATS and a unit night evening program tonight. This week is going to fly by for sure, so we’ll have to work hard to keep up with the images.
The Footloose trek contacted me last night to say they arrived at their campground and were preparing for their first day of climbing today. I’ll be back with more updates as they come in.
Also, the Greenway trek arrived at Mt Monadnock, the final leg in their hike back to camp. We’ll see them very soon, although I’m sure they’ll dart right for the showers!
So, here’s a first batch of pictures from around camp last night and today. Click on an image to see it full size. You’ll see our Polar Bear Swim this morning, the Thoreau Unit, the Carson Unit, some arts and crafts and some fun and friends at the field. enjoy, and we’ll try to hunt down some of those camera shy campers we have. Stay cool if you can!
Bob
Looks like lots of fun times! Thanks for posting the photos Bob!!
