Hello Everyone,
Another warm, but beautiful day here at Wildwood! Lots to catch up on tonight…
Our trek up at the White Mountains is doing great. They saw some of those thunderstorms push through last night, but they soldiered through and will spend their last night there tonight before heading back to camp tomorrow.
The Greenways Trek completed their 50(ish) mile trek from Mount Sunapee all the way back to Wildwood. They arrived at the waterfront this afternoon after finishing up by hiking around Hubbard Pond.
Our session 2 campers have been plowing through this session. Lots of great programs, games, songs, and discoveries have been happening all over camp. In the photos below, you’ll see some shelter-building, bring a twin to lunch (today), arts and crafts, crazy OATs and Heffalump Hunt (tonight – and a huge thank you to all the LITs and JCs, whose great creativity and imagination really made it terrific!). There’s also a few shots from around camp and two butterflies; the aphrodite and the little wood satyr who were visiting the camp today.
One more day to go, and it should be a grand day for sure.
I hope you can join me for “Coffee with the Director” at 9:15 on Saturday morning, just before the campers come down to perform their skits. Meet me at the dining hall.
Have a wonderful Friday, and we’ll look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!
Good Night!
Bob
