Kicking Off Staff Training with Camp Field School!

Summer is finally here! Last week we welcomed camp staff from across Mass Audubon to Wildwood for our annual Camp Field School. The sounds of staff laughing and singing echoed across Hubbard Pond. Camp was humming with activity as folks gathered to learn teaching techniques from Mass Audubon educators, scientists, and camp directors. Equally valuable was the time spent connecting with staff members at other camps learning from each other and making new connections.

This week we’ll be taking time to focus on Wildwood specific programs, safety procedures, and building our summer team. Time will fly as we prepare to welcome our first Family Camp session in on Saturday, June 21. See you at camp!

    Hey Walsh!
Nikolai and I are looking forward to session 2 of Family Camp! I promise not to sprain my ankle again! Can you believe that I still had a great time last year, even in pain?!
Congratulations on your well-earned position at Camp Wildwood.
See you and all your awesome staff Tuesday afternoon.
    Best,
    Heidi Graf
