After a rainy start, Session 1 2015 has gotten off on a great start with warm, sunny weather. Overall it was a great day to get oriented to camp and our programs. Campers selected their Interest Group (IG) for the week and will begin those first thing Tuesday morning.
After orientations and health checks today, all campers had the chance to enjoy some Open Activity Time (OATs). Tomorrow the waterfront will be open and certainly plenty of campers will be taking advantage of that.
In Teen Trek news, the group arrived today in Acadia right around dinner time. After a dinner of Pita Pizzas, they’ll settle into their tents for the evening before a big day tomorrow. They will spend Tuesday biking on the carriage roads and a hike to Sand Beach to cool off and relax.
