New Additions

Adult rabbits can be seen under picnic tables and near the program tent.  The many new additions to their families may be clustered together in a shallow scrape hidden under shrubs.  Not to worry, mom has not deserted them, she returns stealthily to nurse the babies until they are ready to forage on their own.   Most rabbits we see are Eastern Cottontails native New England Cottontails are a rare sight.

To the right of the foundation, an entry ramp is prepared for construction.  The ramp will allow wheelchairs access to the welcome center and then directly onto the All Person’s Trail.  In the lobby,  a lift is available to the lower program spaces.
