Hi Everyone – we’re back with another update from Wildwood, where we’re having a blast! First off, we’ve got a couple more teen treks underway; one on the Cape and Nantucket, where they’ll go kayaking, biking, and learn about the saltmarsh system. The other trek took off this morning for Sunapee Mtn, where they began an amazing greenway hike, heading back south eventually making it to Mt Monadnock before hiking back to camp.
Here at “Wildwood Central”, we began a new set of IGs yesterday, exploring various parts of the camp. Today along with a couple snakes, one group found a stinkpot turtle, a species of turtle that I had not seen here before. I’ll try to get a picture tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, it is our special event “Spy Day”, so there will be lots of spy-related fun games and activities. I’m sure we’ll get some pictures of that.
