There has been a single male on Half Way pond Plymouth for the past 2 springs then leaving. Today I saw a pair (male & female), I sure hope that they are setting up home and staying.

Why are there no loons on Cobble Mountain Reservoir? It’s completely isolated and full of fish. It’s as close to a classic Maine or Adirondack loon lake as you’ll find in this state.

Definitely saw a pair of loons with young while fishing last summer on the Assawompsett Pond Complex in Middleboro/Lakeville. Have seen multiple loons this year including several that seem to have made Long Pond in Lakeville/Freetown home.
