Mid-winter has officially descended upon New England and this time of year is a favorite of Drumlin Farm. These crisp days make us yearn for warm, crackling, fragrant fires, bellies full of steaming stew, pints of creamy craft beer, and the companionship and laughter of friends old and new. Years ago, this cozy reverie prompted us to establish our annual Stew and Brew, a mid-winter celebration of savory winter stews, locally made beers, and the camaraderie between locally minded foodies.
Join us February 8 as our staff prepares delicious stews using local, seasonal ingredients for you to enjoy. Scrumptious stews, several made from Drumlin Farm’s own meat, are served, as well as nourishing vegetarian versions. Soak up every last morsel with a selection of hearty breads. Beers and ales from local brewing companies round out your meal.
