So it seems perfectly harmonious that Mass Audubon and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bso.org\/\">Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO)<\/a> will partner this summer to present a celebration of music, birds, and nature in the Berkshires.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/news-events\/special-events\/general-special-events\/tanglewood-takes-flight\"><em>Tanglewood Takes Flight: A Celebration of Birds and Music with Mass Audubon<\/em><\/a> will take place at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/pleasantvalley\">Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary<\/a> in Lenox and at the BSO\u2019s summer home in Stockbridge over four days, Thursday, July 27\u2013Sunday, July 30. Attendees will immerse themselves in activities including guided bird walks, lectures, recitals by brilliant musicians, and an art exhibit.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights include concerts honoring the music of Olivier Messiaen, including selections from his landmark <em>Catalogue of the Birds<\/em>, and joint presentations by Mass Audubon ornithologist Wayne Petersen and pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard.<\/p>\n<p>All events at Pleasant Valley will be free and open to the public, though <a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/program-catalog#results:keywords=tanglewood\">registration is required<\/a>.
