We tend to associate butterflies with sunny meadows\u2014and rightly so\u2014but did you know that butterflies live in a broad spectrum of habitats including forests, heathlands, bogs, swamps, even salt marshes? In fact, you can spot butterflies wherever caterpillar food plants and sources of nectars for adults are found.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/learn\/nature-wildlife\/insects-arachnids\/butterflies\">Learn more about butterflies<\/a> or join an upcoming program on butterflies at Broadmoor in Natick (for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/program-catalog#program:keywords=butterflies:program_code=46242\">adults <\/a>or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/program-catalog#program:keywords=butterflies:program_code=46237\">families<\/a>), at Felix Neck in Edgartown (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/program-catalog#program:keywords=butterflies:program_code=46324\">children 3-5 with an adult<\/a>), or at Boston Nature Center in Mattapan (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/program-catalog#program:keywords=butterflies:program_code=47050\">adults<\/a>), and enjoy these five lovely images of butterflies from past Photo Contest entrants.<\/p>\n<p>Have a beautiful butterfly shot of your own?
