We know that time spent connecting with nature is a powerful stress-reduction tool, but did you know that even looking at pictures or listening to sounds of nature can have an impact on your stress levels? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To give you a virtual &#8220;change of scenery&#8221; and a healthy dose of nature and wildlife, we&#8217;ve compiled a list of the amazing live animal webcams and digital wildlife experiences from all around the state, the country, and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Bird-Lovers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Get an inside look at the fastest animals on Earth\u2014right in our own &#8220;backyard&#8221; (so to speak)! There are nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/service-details\/view-falcon-cameras\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">half a dozen live webcams<\/a> at locations across Massachusetts focused on nesting Peregrine Falcons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond Massachusetts, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allaboutbirds.org\/cams\/cornell-lab-feederwatch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Cornell Lab of Ornithology<\/a> has live streams of a hummingbird feeder in West Texas, a fruit feeder in Panama, and a seed and suet feeder at Cornell itself, along with a half dozen other nest cams from around the world, in season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Virtual Aquariums<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a truly sublime &#8220;Moment of Zen&#8221;, check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montereybayaquarium.org\/animals\/live-cams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Monterey Bay Aquarium Live Animal Cams<\/a>. In particular, the Jelly Cams offers a gentle, soothing visual experience paired with calming background music, but the boundless joy of sea otters frolicking and playing can&#8217;t be beat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oceannetworks.ca\/sights-sounds\/live-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Ocean Networks Canada<\/a> maintains several live webcams from 75 feet below the sea at the Folger Pinnacle Reef off Vancouver Island, British Columbia.&nbsp;The cameras only operate for five minutes every hour, but you never know what you&#8217;re going to see!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoo-Tube<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"San Diego Zoo's Live Animal Cams (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/zoo.sandiegozoo.org\/live-cams\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Zoo&#8217;s Live Animal Cams<\/a> include everything from penguins and polar bears to elephants and tigers. Check out the giraffe cam for a look at the African Plains habitat, which also includes rhinos and other wildlife from their Safari Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nationalzoo.si.edu\/webcams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Smithsonian&#8217;s National Zoo<\/a> hosts a few live animal webcasts on its website, including a Lion Cam, Elephant Cam, Giant Panda cam, and even one for Naked Mole Rats!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Around the World in 80 Seconds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other side of the globe, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=c0KpfK2fC2I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">visit a watering hole<\/a> at the Djuma Game Reserve in South Africa, where impalas, elephants, hippos, and all manner of birds come to drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if none of the above are quite what you&#8217;re looking for, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.earthcam.com\/events\/animalcams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Earth Cam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.org\/livecams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Explore.org<\/a> have an incredible array of live animal cams from around the world\u2014although not technically &#8220;wildlife,&#8221;  the <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.org\/livecams\/warrior-canine-connection\/service-puppy-cam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Puppy Playroom<\/a> cam at the Warrior Canine Connection, an organization that trains veterans to train service dogs for fellow veterans, is the &#8220;cuteness overload&#8221; we all need right now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s no getting around it: things are a little stressful right now.
