Study after study has shown that being outdoors&nbsp;can do&nbsp;wonders for our health and well-being.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while our buildings have temporarily&nbsp;shut-down, our 38,000 acres of protected land is there for you to explore.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit a favorite&nbsp;trail, or&nbsp;try a new one. While you\u2019re there, take a deep breath,&nbsp;slow down,&nbsp;listen to the sounds around you, seek out signs of spring, and share what you see on&nbsp;our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MassAudubon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Facebook page<\/a>&nbsp;or tag us on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/massaudubon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may have to socially distance ourselves in person, but we can continue to be a strong community online.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Need some inspiration on where to visit?&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/wildlife-sanctuaries\/map-of-sanctuaries\" target=\"_blank\">Search for a wildlife sanctuary<\/a>&nbsp;by&nbsp;city or&nbsp;zip code&nbsp;or <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/wildlife-sanctuaries\/places-to-explore\" target=\"_blank\">browse by region<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li>Read an&nbsp;article on the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/news-events\/publications\/explore\/past-issues\/summer-2018\/hidden-gems\" target=\"_blank\">Hidden Gems of Mass Audubon<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/wildlife-sanctuaries\/trails\" target=\"_blank\">Find trail descriptions and maps online<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Bring along <a href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/young-explorers\/explore-a-sanctuary\/nature-bingo\">Nature Bingo<\/a> for kids (and kids at heart).<\/li><li><strong>Please Note: Drumlin Farm and Blue Hills Trailside Museum are closed to all visitors.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A few&nbsp;important&nbsp;notes if you do plan on visiting:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you see others there, remember to socially distance yourselves&nbsp;and do not gather in large groups.&nbsp;<\/li><li>If we feel a sanctuary is getting so much visitation that socially distancing becomes challenging, we may need to close the sanctuary.&nbsp;<\/li><li>To prevent the spread of COVID-19, there will be no bathrooms available.&nbsp;<\/li><li>For your safety, please do not play in the Nature Play Areas.&nbsp;<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/get-outdoors\/wildlife-sanctuaries\/guidelines\" target=\"_blank\">See additional guidelines<\/a>&nbsp;for the safety of people and wildlife. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mass Audubon&nbsp;relies on&nbsp;memberships&nbsp;and admission fees to maintain our&nbsp;property&nbsp;and provide education programs.
