From hotter days to stronger storms to rising seas, we see the impacts all around us. This reality has driven youth activists to&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fridaysforfuture.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">take to the streets<\/a>&nbsp;for more than a year, demanding action for the future of their planet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Now, youth organizers are not just welcoming but urging adults to participate side-by-side with them.<\/strong>&nbsp;The strike kicks off a week of actions to elevate the need for&nbsp;implementing bold and urgent climate solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2192 September 20-27: <a href=\"https:\/\/globalclimatestrike.net\/\">Climate Strikes<\/a> are taking place across the globe including in <a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/events\/boston-climate-strike-2?\">Boston<\/a> (9\/20), <a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/events\/pioneer-valley-climate-strike?\">Northampton<\/a> (9\/20), and <a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/events\/global-climate-strike-12?\">Worcester<\/a> (9\/27). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2192 September 21: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/climatechange\/youth-summit.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Young leaders from around the world<\/a>&nbsp;are convening to showcase climate solutions and engage with global leaders on climate change.&nbsp;All of this precedes the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/climatechange\/\" target=\"_blank\">UN Climate Action Summit<\/a>&nbsp;in New York City&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2192&nbsp;September&nbsp;23: Global leaders are meeting&nbsp;as part of the&nbsp;UN Climate Action Summit&nbsp;in New York&nbsp;City&nbsp;&nbsp;to&nbsp;boost ambition and accelerate actions to implement the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If&nbsp;Not&nbsp;Us,&nbsp;Then&nbsp;Who?&nbsp;If&nbsp;Not&nbsp;now,&nbsp;Then&nbsp;When?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We know that we have the solutions needed to create a healthier, safer, and more equitable planet for all species. What we need now is to come together and use our collective power to make those solutions heard and ultimately supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Find a&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/globalclimatestrike.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">climate strike near you<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;join us on September 20. Then,&nbsp;ask three friends or family members to join you&nbsp;as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>If you&#8217;re striking in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/349500849297711\/?active_tab=about\">Boston<\/a>, look for the Mass Audubon table at City Hall Plaza.<\/li><li>Unable to miss work? Check out&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/globalclimatestrike.net\/organise\/#workplace\" target=\"_blank\">these suggestions<\/a>&nbsp;from youth organizers on how you can offer support from your workplace.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Talk about climate change and the strike with family, friends, and coworkers. And remember to be an&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ukscn.org\/a-guide-for-our-adult-allies\/\" target=\"_blank\">adult ally<\/a>&nbsp;in every climate conversation you have.&nbsp;Lead by example for other parents, adults, and even&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfFgbrdOjg3n26iC3fXVvJpt4YP1M7AWekoh7AxnDM2YEZKAg\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\">teachers<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The moment to show up for nature and the future of all young people is now.&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Will you be standing and striking?
