Noah, who lives in Holliston, is one of the many young artists from around the country who has participated in MABA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.massaudubon.org\/learn\/museum-of-american-bird-art\/exhibitions\/youth-art-exhibit\">Taking Flight: Juried Youth Bird Art Exhibition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10761\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"724\" height=\"483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_9.jpg 724w, https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_9-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_9-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For the past 2 years, the museum has put out a call to children ages 4-18 to submit their drawings and paintings of birds. Of the submissions, 28 are chosen for the exhibition, the opening of which includes a chance to meet renowned bird artists such as David Sibley (2016) and Barry Van Dusen (2017).<\/p>\n<p>For Noah, Taking Flight was an opportunity to combine two passions and learn along the way. \u201cI love animals and I love drawing. So I love drawing animals!\u201d he said, noting that he likes drawing birds \u201cbecause they show us just how beautiful our world is and how important it is that we make nature conservation a priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10762\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"725\" height=\"483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_4.jpg 725w, https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.massaudubon.org\/yourgreatoutdoors\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2018\/03\/Noah_4-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 725px) 100vw, 725px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>His piece Tweety Birds, Tweety Birds What Do You See? I See Beautiful Colors All Around Me, was selected for the 2017 exhibition and is now on view at MABA. This is something Noah is especially proud of\u2014a feeling he wishes everyone can experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope anyone who likes to draw takes the opportunity to enter!\u201d Noah said.
