Price for shareholders: $5/bucket, non-shareholders, $10/bucket. Lugi’s honey (1 lb jars), and Queen’s honey (3/4 lb jars) will continue to be sold at $12 and $10 respectively. Hi all,

Another bountiful week lies ahead! Honey jars of 1 lb and 3/4 lb continue to be sold. Both portions of honey are taken right from Moose Hill, one of which comes from our bee hives right next to the lower field. All of our honey is filtered and completely unprocessed, or “unrefined.” This week we are also beginning “buy a bucket tomatoes” at the lower field. Members will be able to purchase a 5 gallon bucket of pick your own tomatoes for $5, for non-members; $10. This will begin Monday August 8th at distribution. After Monday Aug 8, “buy a bucket” will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 – 7 pm, including this week. Here is the list for this week:

Hello Shareholders,

Tomatoes are increasing! We have an addition of yellow beans, and we will be holding pick your own cherry tomatoes.

Honey, honey, honey! We are excited to now be selling honey. You can find honey right at distribution – cash or check only OR stop up at the Visitor Center throughout the week between 10 am and 4 pm where we also have the honey for sale in our shop.

• Lugi’s Honey from Beekeepers Dan and Luda is collected from the hives at the CSA fields. We are selling 1 pound jars for $12 each.
• Queen’s Honey from Beekeepers Despina, Kostas, and Paul is collected from hives in the fields off of our Billing’s Farm Loop trail. We are selling 3/4 pound jars for $10 each.

Hi all,

Another great week of vegetables lies ahead of us. Potatoes are a new addition, and while some are quite small, they still have the same great taste. Tomatoes are finally here! Small amounts will be distributed this week, but next next we should have a significantly higher yield. Our cucumbers are gradually lessening as you have noticed, and while our summer squash and zucchini are declining as well, we have new varieties of acorn and winter squash available now. Hi all,

Another Bountiful Week! Due to much of the Broccoli having  flowered as of late, we sadly may not have enough for Wednesday and onward. We were able to harvest enough for today, and we will try our best to have Broccoli for the rest of the week. Also, not to be the bearer of bad news, but this will be the last week of quality strawberries. On the horizon: collard greens and big onions!
