The Butterfly Effect

In popular culture, the Butterfly Effect has come to represent small actions (even the flapping of a butterfly’s wing) that produce dramatic effects.

donate-button-butterfly_smallerWhen it comes to protecting wildlife and wild lands, your gift today of any size will make a difference.

The fields, forests, and farmlands of Massachusetts are vital to our health and our future. Protecting them is hard work, but in partnership with members and friends like you, we’re getting it done.

Last year we protected an additional 1,000+ acres across the state—more than the three prior years combined!

But the window of opportunity for saving open space is closing fast, and funds are urgently needed before lands that matter to you, to our well-being and that of the next generation, are lost forever.

We need everyone to do their part, and that’s why Mass Audubon’s Giving Tuesday event is dedicated to the Butterfly Effect.

Help us meet our goal of 1,000 new donations by December 31, and together we’ll protect the next 1,000 acres.

Flap for impact. Make your gift today.

And if you make a donation of $35 or more, you’ll receive a free Mass Audubon tote bag as a thank you!
