Take 5: Wicked Pretty Waxwings

Waxwings are at once elegant and clown-like. One species, the cedar waxwing, breeds in Massachusetts, and another, the larger Bohemian waxwing, is an irregular winter visitor. The first species is a frequent subject of our Photo Contest photographers. Here are five of our favorites.

    Good morning
I get many Waxwings when the Mulberry Tree starts to have berries. The whole tree is full of them from then until the berries are gone which is a couple of months. It’s wonderful.
